Company Growing U.S. Team by 50% to Support its Customers Nationwide
Denver, CO, July 29th, 2026 – Uptick, a provider of fire inspection and job management software, is investing in the U.S. with the opening of a Denver office to propel the company’s aggressive expansion plans.
Fire protection is a high-growth sector with M&A deal activity increasing 66.7% in 2025, yet many businesses still rely on spreadsheets or other manual methods. Uptick offers a digital approach, with vertical-specific software that unifies scheduling, reporting, compliance, and administrative tasks in a single platform. More than 200 North American companies have implemented the solution in less than two years, bringing Uptick to 1,000+ global customers and over 2.7 million buildings maintained using their technology.
Uptick’s U.S. team has grown to 40+ employees over the last two years and is expected to expand another 50% by 2027. Backed by PSG Equity, the company is also committing resources to domestic R&D to help businesses modernize and replace paper-based reporting with its purpose-built fire protection software.
Aidan Lister, CEO, Uptick, said: “The fire protection sector hasn’t seen the love that others have because the industry is complex and the market is relatively small. Uptick built a field servicing product that rivals the billion-dollar general software companies in features, but caters to the complex requirements of North American fire protection companies. With our rapidly expanding Denver hub, we’re closer to our customers and better positioned to tap into top tech talent to continue developing the software they rely on.”
Courtney Dorrance, Owner, Bighorn Fire Protection, said: “Uptick enables our small team to run like a much bigger operation. The software is intuitive and the support behind it is incredibly responsive. Most importantly, having a single system for inspections, reporting, and field work has taken a lot of friction out of our day so we can prioritize our customers and keep growing.”
Tanner Austin, Principle, PSG, said: “In our view, recent institutional capital investment across the fire safety and compliance sector in North America underscores the mission critical nature of the services provided while creating significant demand for technology that is purpose-built to help technicians work more efficiently and companies scale more effectively. This is why we are thrilled to partner with Uptick to accelerate its North American expansion to help modernize how the fire safety and compliance industry operate.”
Uptick’s new office is located in the Platte River Rowing Club building at 1774 Platte Street, Denver, Colorado, 80202. For more on the company and local recruitment, please click here.
